A dark portal opened and Xion stepped through, hood pulled up so no one could see her face. She wasn't all that sure that she was allowed to come here, at all. But it was one good start.
This had been the place where she had awakened only a few weeks ago. Had it really been just a few weeks? It almost felt like an eternity. Only a couple days ago she had ran into Axel in Wonderland, and a few weeks before that she'd met with Naminé in the Castle of Dreams for the Royal Ball. She'd also met a stranger back then, a stranger that had had such a strange effect in her, someone she hadn't met in her life and who felt too familiar, like a lost, beloved friend.
She was getting slowly tired, tired of not knowing, of having her quiestions unanswered. If no one was answering, then...then that was okay. She could search on her own, and that was what she was doing. She stepped through Castle Oblivion slowly, her footsteps echoing slowly in the deserted halls. She wasn't quite sure of where she should head first, Castle Oblivion was too...large.
Staring quietly into the endless halls, the dazzling white walls and tiled floor, Xion stepped straight toward a door, a door at the end of the hall. She wasn't sure of what lay behind it, but it seemed like the best place to start.
Creak.
The door slid open and she stepped through, finding herself in yet another white hall, dazing with bright light and devoid of life, just like she expected. Xion groaned inwardly. There had to be someone around... there just had to be. Right? Maybe someone who had reawakened again? Anyone? She didn't care, but she was almost desperate for answers.
"Hello?"

"Welcome back, Xion."
As the voice rang throughout the halls, a dark portal opened about 7 feet in front of Xion, and the Whirlwind Lancer stepped out of it, his arms crossed and his eyes focused on the girl. This one puzzled heim, for she was able to return even though she was imperfect. Or so Vexen had told him. But it was no matter, she was here and all that mattered was the present.
Looking at the girl, one thought entered his head, and he voiced it out loud.
"I believe you are ehre for a reason, and am curious as to why. What brings you back to the Organization, No. i? Perhaps making a return to our ranks, or something personal?" A single eyebrow raised, and he awaited the answer she would give her.
((Sorry about the shortness, my muse is slightly bombed :3))

"...Xaldin?"
She eyed him curiously, the first question that came to mind was when he had gotten back. Though the real question was... how did he remember her? Everyone else... everyone... even Axel.... they had forgotten, so why hadn't Xaldin? This didn't make any sense. It was all wrong. And not only him, but Xigbar remembered her too. That was so odd... she hadn't kept any contact with either of them, and yet they remembered her.
"I have already made my comeback a few weeks ago, I... what did you call me?"she blinked a bit in confusion. No.i? Was that... was that her true name? No, it didn't sound like a name. It sounded like a label, mostly. She didn't quite know what to say to that.
"I needed to know... what happened to me before. And why no one seems to know me anymore..."she mumbled.

(( *facepalm* Forgot about the forgetting of her. Buttt I have a plan. :3))
"I see you are curious on how I am able to remember you." The Whirlwind ancer's mouth turned up at the corner for all of a second, but then became its normal expression. Holding up a folder full of paper, he said, "The Academic was always acreless with his research. And I just happened to be looking for him, but I fear he is not back. What a shame." The last sentence had his best attempt at sarcasm.
Pulling a piece of paper out, Xaldin read it. "The Program is largely on track. No. i, my finest Replica, has proven an even greater success than anticipated." Looking at Xion, he said, "I assume that is you, or am I wrong? Luckily, these appers seemed to jog my memory." Putting the paper back and dropping the folder, Xaldin stepped forward until he was in front of Xion.
"So, what is it you seek? Acceptance, or a meaning. Because I feel I may be able to assist."
((Hope that's a good enough reason. My 358/2 Days hasn't been played for a while. =P))

((Lol don't worry :3))
"...Replica?"
No.
That didn't make any sense, she couldn't... couldn't be a replica... she'd know, right? She had to know such thing... no, it was a lie... she couldn't, just couldn't be... Otherwise she'd know so, she'd be aware of it.
"But I forgot everything. How was I supposed to know...?
She suddenly remembered her meeting with Naminé, so strange, confusing, all of it... she suddenly was able to recall pieces of dialogue. All vague and distorted, but as she started to put them together, it all started to make sense... in a flash on intuition it all fit together, like pieces of a puzzle falling together in place, fitting in perfectly with each other.
"Why...?"
That was the reason that they had forgotten, she now knew everything. That one last fight... last goodbye... everything... all of it made sense. And it hurt, hurt to know. She might have been better off without any knowledge. In the end, didn't everyone say that ignorance was bliss?
"I...." she stuttered like she couldn't get the sound off her throat. And she couldn't it was too difficult.
"I don't know..."

"Well, that's no help to me if even you do not know your meaning, girl." The Whirlwind Lancer turned his back to the girl, walking a few steps before turning back and saying, "Return to the Organization, girl. We have a need for you there, a meaning." He paused, then turned all the way around. "You must have came here for a reason. Well, allow me to provide that reason."
((I'm sooooooo sorry for the lateness. *shot*))
