Why yes, they are! The moogles are characters controlled by the main Administrators, Marluxia and Zexion, and the moderator Demyx, and they randomly distribute goodies into your inventories! But first, it's time to meet the Moogles!

"Just 'cause my appearance is different doesn't mean that I'm not a Moogle, kuu! I'm built for colder climates than Kupo. Every once in a while, I take a fly around and I drop items from the sky. (I so totally don't pretend I'm dropping bombs. You know.) And they land in your inventory! I'd make sure to let you know in whatever thread we're in, but I make sure that the threads aren't too important! If they're character building, rather than fighting, and it's getting rather serious, you won't see me posting there until the action dies down, kuu! So. So. Um. So! I hope to see you around! "
