Shivering, the young girl continued her journey though the quiet town. It was late, that much Kairi could tell. The street lights were already on, illuminating the path she was heading down towards. The girl couldn’t stay in the one place, not when the darkness was taking over. That she had witnessed for a while now and was trying her hardest to defeat. But it was so difficult on her own, even with Sora, it was proving a challenge. Something was making this worse, but she didn’t know what.
With her fierce new determination to prove she could cope well on her own, that’s what Kairi had taken to do as of late. Going it alone. She knew she had to do it, for the chance to see her friend Riku again. It wasn’t easy, but she was convinced it was possible. The darkness, it wasn’t going to last. She was almost certain on that fact. It was a quiet night, peaceful.
Just the way she preferred it. With no answers, the red-head collapsed onto a park bench, letting her blue eyes dash around the night sky. Peaceful, she knew it was safe to travel here. Hence why she choose it. To clear her mind. Which was getting difficult as the days went by. Leaning her head back, she wondered how long till everything got better.
In her life, the worlds. To be honest, it was all too uncertain. Sighing, the young princess of light, rested her head on the palms of her hands. Kairi stifled a yawn, as she struggled to keep awake. She couldn’t recall the last time she properly had a good night’s sleep. The last time was most likely before this happened, two whole years ago. A fraction of a smile left the girl’s lips as she thought of the old days and how easy it was back then. Because she knew things were going to get more complicated from here on out.

Xion swung her Keyblade at the two Heartless that she was trying to get rid off. Another one was clinging to her left foot. She kicked it away. It wasn't a real method to get rid of them, but it worked, besides, the sight of a flying Hearless was somewhat entertaining.
She soon got rid of one, but the remaining one was more of a nuisance. It went on vanishing out of sight before she even had the chance to hit it; she really couldn't get rid of it. It was annoying. Not to mention she was getting exhausted far too easily.
"Why...are you...so difficult!"she protested like she was really expecting an answer from the creature. It just seemed to hiss at her and vanished again. It soon reappeared nearby, and she took the chance to hit it a few times before it finally faded away. It's heart soon rose up to the sky to join with Kingdom Hearts.
Xion gave a low sigh and then dropped herself on the ground. She was exhausted. She wasn't even sure why, if the task hadn't been so tough. She just had to get rid of the Heartless. If it had been the larger ones, the Large Bodies, then she'd have a good reason to be exhausted. But this were just Shadows, and they had been pretty easy. She got up after a while and went to sit down on a bench, sighing and burying her head on her lap.

Kairi didn’t know why she was out so late. It was just to clear her head, she thought. Plus, she wanted to ensure to Sora that she could fight very well on her own. And so far, so good. She had managed to avoid any heartless in her way, but even if there were any, she was certain she would take them down. Maybe not as easily as Sora, she was still learning, of course. Luckily it was quiet enough, so far.
She barely registered as a few shadows fluttered past her line of sight, somewhere in the distance. She also could of swore that she seen a hooded figure. Was that...them? The organization, right? She tilted her head, but the figure was gone. It was currently to dark to make out anything and was sure her mind was probably playing tricks on her. Sighing, Kairi fiddled with the hem on her skirt, shivering slightly. It was getting colder for some reason; maybe she should have brought a coat with her.
But that was a little too late, looking towards the sky; she wondered when she would go home. Perhaps soon or...She couldn’t be too sure. Her mind was still a bit mixed up still. Resting her chin in her palms, she to another breath, as her eyes began to flutter shut. She was fairly tired as of late, exhaustion getting to her. A soft squeak of the bench made her eyelids flutter open, to see that she was not only.
A figure sat beside her, wearing those dark cloaks. It instinctively made her on edge, as she studied the girl next to her. ”Um..Hi” she uttered shyly, trying to make conversation, whilst being cautious at the same time. She could never be too careful.

It was...wow. Late.
That would explain why was she so sleepy and why the sky had grown dark in such a short amount of time. How long had she actually been fighting the Shadows? It had felt like hours, even thouh she knew the fight had only lasted a few -and very long- minutes.
She sighed, head laid on her lap, eyes wandering silently. The air was cold and dry, the type that only blew in the winter and made you stay at home. Xion was wondering why, was it somehow related to the high levels of darkness that appeared to be rising again? Possibly. Heck, she had come back from the dead, and so had the Organization; who said the darkness couldn't make extreme changes in the weather?
It was a voice what snapped her from her thoughts. Xion looked back at the stranger; a girl, about her age, who had bright auburn hair and was clad in a pink dress. "Hello,"she answered blankly, not knowing why she was so scared. Maybe this girl knew the Organization? It seemed logical.
"But how fan can a raft take us?"
"Who knows? If we have to, we'll think of something else..."
"So suppose you get to another world. What will you do there?"
"Well, I haven't really thought about it. I've just always wondered why we're here on this island. If there are any other worlds out there, why did we end up on this one? And... suppose there are other worlds... then that means ours is just a little piece of something much greater. "
She then held a hand to her forehead. Those voices again...the same flashback. Why, why did it keep coming if it wasn't even her memory anyway? It had happened once, in the Castle of Dreams. And it had been much worse, much more vivid. As though she was reliving it.
It was one of the voices, though, what made her curious. She didn't have to make too much sense out of it to realize that it belonged to the same girl she was talking to now. How was that possible?
"Um...do I know you?"
