Sherwood shenanigans; Sora, Aysel

This is partly a response to the first plotting thread, on the topic of chaos and Darkness vs Light. X3

I have in mind the idea that Demyx is caught somewhere in the middle- as someone said in the other thread, there's the idea that characters take sides for survival:, and I think that applies to Demyx. He doesn't like violence, but nor does he want to disobey his Organization and get killed or Dusked, so, he'll follow whoever's the strongest. My sub-plot of Demyx seeking the other membners only ranges to those that he had a fairly good relationship with prior to his death; he isn't going to regroup with the whole gang and whatnot. :3

That said, my Sherwood thread with Sora and Aysel- there will be some drama and chaos there, sooner rather than later. After all, Sora was the one who killed Demyx. Whether Sora's a human or an anthropomorphic wolf, and alone or with Donald and Goofy to back himup- Demyx wouldn't want to get into another fight if he can help it. I'd like to see a fight occur, with or without the use of their weapons, as anthropomorphic paws aren't that well suited for wielding massive keyblades and sitars and so on; we need some chaos to happen, one way or another. O:

Aysel, you can enter the scene once Sora and Demyx go on a search for Sora's gummi ship, which'll happen within the next two posts, approximately; Sora and Demyx haven't introduced themself to the other yet, as their new forms are much more interesting than what their new friend's name is. Demyx isn't careless enough to just blab and reveal his name at the moment; he has recognized the wolf's voice and mannerisms, but the truth has yet to sink in.

At some point, something will happen or someone will say something, revealing a connection between the otter and the wolf, and... we'll let it go from there, yeah/no?

For a recap, Demyx had abandoned Aysel early on his arrival in Sherwood Forest; he's realized that allowing a strange new Nobody to tag along isn't a good idea, although who's to say that, since he doesn't know the whereabouts or status of Lord Xemnas, etc.

Any thoughts, changes, anything? :E

Siding with whoever's the strongest~ That sounds like Dem. xD
I gotta ask though, is there ever a chance for Demyx to side with the Hearts of Light... if they ever accept him? It would take a lot for Sora to accept him, but he could do it.
Not saying we should do it. O:

I'd love to see them fight, and I could definitely see Sora jumping to conclusions. But I think Sora could easily wield a keyblade in his mouth just like in the Pride Lands. Wondering how Dem will react to all this though~
As for chaos other than a possible fight~... We could have a big, bad heartless throwing fire spells around in the forest? Roaring fires are probably one of the most instantly devastating things that could happen to a lush forest... right? =D Or maybe not.
Maybe we could go with Axel's idea on the other plotting thread... Having certain parts of the world look corrupted by the darkness, all cracked and frightening looking, just like at Destiny Islands at the end of KH?

Also wondering what'll happen once Aysel shows up~ :3

That's a good question, Sora! I think it's safe to say that if and when the ooportunity comes along for Demyx to choose a side, he would pick the Heart of Light; that said, he'll need to be absolutely sure that Xemnas is gone, for nothing's worse than disobeying the Superior and joining with the 'enemy'. X3

As you said for Sora, Demyx would need considerable time, and the right sequence of events, for him to makea decision like that and to stick with it. He wouldn't just go running off to join the other army just because.

@wielding weapons. That, or with his hands; as the Keyblade is magical, wouldn't it alter itself to suit its owner? I'm not saying that it'dchange drastically, only just by a little; I'm petty and found it od that Lion!Sora could wield it with his tail, when at other times in the Pride Lands he could grip the Keyblade in his jaws.. XD

I really like the concept of the world(s) being torn into peices, so different regions look incomplete and fade into nothingness and such. I'd like to incorporate that into Sherwood Forest, so Sora, Demyx and Aysel will come across a region of the forest that's gradually losing colour, plantlife, and general shape, where it'll just suddenly reach an edge of a void and whoah D: chaos.

A big Heartless might add too much chaos to this specific thread, for Sora and Demyx will have all sorts of drama once they find out who the other is, as that scenario certainly won't be over in a couple of posts before they go their separate ways! That, and Aysel's in the middle of it all. =D Poor Aysel! Aysel's busy at the moment from what I heard; I read your reply, it's good; there's a typo you need to correct (won instead of one); so I'll work on my reply over the next couple of days, and hopefully Aysel will jump into this plot thread with some input.

You're right. Going off to join "just because" isn't a good thing. c: Well... generally not for a nobody. And I really couldn't see him disobeying Xemnas, being a "traitor". I'm kinda excited on seeing how things go for Demyx, since he's always going with the flow and all that. xD

Yeah, I think Sora'd do just fine with his Keyblade. c: Is there not a chance that Demyx's sitar could alter? It obviously has some magical components, and its magic wasn't strictly laid out or anything in the games, so I'd say that altering the weapon to fit the world wouldn't be such a bad idea.

You're right. Maybe a big heartless is too much for the thread at the way its going now. c: There'll definitely be enough drama for a while. -Loves the drama- And Aysel's busy? O:

Yeah, Demyx wouldn't want to get in Xemnas' bad books, and find out for himself what it really is like to be Dusked. O: He does have a habit of going with the flow- even better when he can be on the sidelines and outof all the action, too! Spectatorship for the win.

His sitar could change, I'd just need to think of a decent-and-plausible way for it to be altered... ahh, why'd you have to pop up all of a sudden and disrupt my RP schedule D:< *Referring to the storms IRL*

I'm not exactly sure, but Aysel was preoccupied with something, but now Aysel is.. available! *Shot* I saw that you brought the thread up in the c-box; you're right, Aysel can jump into the thread after my next post, as I'll be adding some things that will leave room for said-Nobody to waltz on in Sora's and Demyx' forest adventuring. =D
