Hm, that makes sense. And if Naminé's really a Nobody then he could've caused that too (but that's debatable) since it sounds like just a mass thing.
And true, Skell. Yen Sid explained that Nobodies are originally created of their own will, they're not a standard like Heartless, so obviously the strongest of the strong keep their individuality. And Xemnas's will may not have been enough; I could see him coming back as a Dusk after all that, but then he'd kind of forget what he was doing. (On the other hand, Maleficent's rebirth was pretty sketchy.)

Just thought I'd hop in here...
Now that I'm Hades like I've always been, whatcha lookin' at?, I have a completely new perspective on this plot. I was supportive of your idea of having it be something natural, force of the universe, Sora, but now I am loving it more.
Because, yahknow, Hades wants to get that pretty little throne on Mt. Olympus. And the way that he planned to do it in the movies had to deal with all the planets aligning. Not to say that we should go in that same direction, plants aligning and whatnot, but what if we brainstormed (nyuck nyuck) up some other natural occurrences? And perhaps they all, coincidentally, happen together? Kind of sounds like The Day of Judgment, with the way I'm phrasing it all, and it's super dark (considering current events) to incorporate even natural disasters or a minor level... but... I dunno. What d'you think?
And Xemnas, just hope that all is well. I know things have been suoauusaidaysi for you lately, and we patiently await your return. Your awesomeness is awesome.
