Soo~ I've been wanting to ask and plot this out for some time, but I haven't really had the chance until now. c: I was wary about plotting in the cbox, since our plotting would inevitably be lost to others. Anyway, I've been a little confused about some of our RPing here lately... and plotting (or maybe no plotting?) would be nice.
Chaos has been happening in the worlds right? With all the rulers going insane, with people losing their humanity to raw emotion, with all the dead souls being reborn again (Like Organization XIII)... and I don't see much of that going on. BUT I haven't read all of the RPs, so I shouldn't generalize I suppose. o:
There's a lot of mystery going on, a lot of questions that need to be answered and fixed. It'd be hard to get through these questions in regular RPs unless a little of them were plotted, I believe. Also, would be cool if we planned out a few catastrophes to aid with the craziness. xD Or would it?
SO. Any ideas? c: Discussion? Or do you guys think we should just go with the flow?

Well... I know as far as the Heart of Light side goes, Mickey and Donald are going to go to Destiny Islands to try and find Sora. They won't, though, because he's conveniently in Disney Town (dramatic irony, anyone?). But, they will pick-up Kairi, so she'll be more involved with the plot, too. :3
Goofy... I have yet to talk to Nami yet... but I was thinking Goofy could find Sora in Disney Town and it could be an encircling hunt for each other, The King, Donald, and Kairi to find Sora and Goofy.
Anyone know what's up with Riku?

YESYESYESYES. *dies of excitement*
This weekend, I am DEFINITELY going to try and get my Goofy app done. If I focus, I can get it done. *gets distracted so easily* D: I remember in the thread I was doing with Roxas, there was darkness everywhere. I hope Trix comes back on soon so we can continue. *really liked where that thread was going*
And I kinda wish Troll and Avan could be involved a little more. I love those characters. *flails* Even if there's more Hearts of Lights. I think they could contribute to the fact that a lot of people going crazy. Avan's done a good job of that in NTR. >> I'm still confused as to what Naminé should do. She's kinda in the middle. Haven't seen Riku in an age, I hope that guy's alright. Meantime, that's true, there definitely needs to be a lotta chaos going on. I've really only encountered that in Wonderland so far, but from what I've seen of the Organization it's a lot of pulling the pieces back together. Only once they pledge allegiance to the hearts and unite under one Xemnas will they be team players again, and screw that, I'm done with that. Catch me if you can, suckers.
Catastrophes, hmm. I don't think we can make worlds collapse again because that's mighty inconvenient and a little too repetitive, but having some major Heartless bosses here and there would add some conflict. Maybe we should ask the staff about that, especially if we wanna include any major villains like Hades and Ursula, who I figure the staff or a group head could NPC for a few rough and tough battles. Or if actual characters are kinda ehn then it's not like it takes character to play, say, a Dustflier from 358/2 Days.
Aside from that, just taking worlds and making them look broken up like Destiny Islands did at the End of the World could show the effects of the darkness and uproot a lot of folk, but staff help here is probably pretty key.
If we really wanna get the ball rollin' then we'd need an outright plan of action to get the whole site involved. Just as an example, I'm on another site where there are fierce territory battles. Units group up to fight the darkness away from an area or battle the light to claim an area for darkness. I'm not suggesting we use that, and in fact I would advise strongly against it since someone else thought of it first and since we don't have nearly enough characters for something that scattered, but just as an example of somethin' that could be exciting and set a goal.
Probably the biggest problem at present is that if it's just a bunch of chaos not directed by anything then it's hard to resolve, cuz there's no one's stupid butt you can kick to make it all stop, but that'll also keep it going awhile. Meantime we could all go huntin' for info, or people, since Sora's good at looking for folks and I can't say I'd mind runnin' into Roxas when he gets back.

As far as I understand, it's an odd darkness that is causing the Heart of Light leaders of each world to go slightly insane, no? We should take advantage of that plot, as it's really interesting, and nobody quite knows why they're falling ill... but I think that is part of the problem. How can we write about something we don't really know about? We should at least formulate an idea as to what is causing this, no? Perhaps it has everything to do with a new strategy the Hearts of Darkness have.
I don't mind taking up a Heart of Darkness for purposes of plot. It just depends on where we're starting. Are Sora and Goofy going to find the other three and THEN everybody goes off to solve these mysteries together? Or are there going to be two parties that will try and figure these mysteries out, and then eventually come together?
And then, there lies the question as to whether or not the Hearts of Darkness will be collaborating with the Organization or not. Is Xemnas willing to join forces with Maleficent and her crew to defeat Sora? Axel's rouge. But what're the rest going to do?
So many questions...

As long as we don't know, it could still be about the characters finding out. We know that there's "darkness in every heart," and from time to time we've seen people consumed by it (Clayton, Maleficent, Riku) but those were all mostly evil or at least susceptible in some way. For the same thing to be going down with the good guys, way I see it anyway, the darkness has to be strong enough to play on some insecurity--the way it did with the Beast. Like, let's say Triton's suddenly all angry and evil and imprisoning Ariel in the castle dungeon, which isn't too far out of character for him anyway but the darkness could twist his desire to protect her into locking her up for her own good and destroying everything he perceives as a threat to her. (It's a little complex since she's supposed to be a landlubber now, but I'm sure she visits and if he could make her a human he can make her a fish again.) If we got a bunch of these going on, then Sora and company'd hafta figure out creative ways of dealing with the darkness without also destroying their friends, and on the other side of the issue people like the Organization wouldn't be interested in preserving the afflicted. If that darkness ever got in their way, they'd just get rid of it, which gives Sora and others with light hearts another variable.
That said, I'm honestly gonna be surprised if the Organization pulls back together, completely anyway. From what I know, Marluxia's back under the yoke, but that doesn't make sense to me since he betrayed the Organization already and I can't see Xemnas inviting him back, so maybe that'll change. Larxene's in the same boat there. So whether they join with the darkness is up to their individual desires, but in the same way I can't see Sora opening his arms to them and by contrast the darkness has always been something they can control.
We'd hafta hear from the boss man before anything got cleared up there. Whoever follows him is doin' whatever he says.

Alright, thanks for telling me Skell. c: Also, I'm (slowly) applying for a Heart of Darkness, and I could get him involved in the craziness going on in the worlds somehow. I really hope Roxas is okay, since the last time she was here... she said she was sick. Don't know about Riku. And Nami, do you want me to make a NTR plotting thread? We've got a lot going on, a lot of speculation and junk, and it seems like it'd make everything easier if we just made another plotting thread. I relayed all our plotting with Raive yesterday, and the PM was ridiculously long. :/
I like your idea Axel of having the darkness toying with the insecurities and evil traits (since almost everybody has a least some darkness in them) of the Hearts of Light. It sounds really interesting. Still yet, it makes me wonder why all people aren't afflicted by this darkness... Unless we could have it gradually afflicting everybody? I know my Sora's been kinda down in the dumps because he couldn't defeat the darkness, and he could easily be susceptible that way. ;; It could add a sense of urgency too?
Either way, whether the Hearts of Light be united from the beginning or not, it would work I believe. It just depends on whether we want something more organized or something more intentionally crazy. As for the Organization, I don't know what to think about it. Xion's joined up with them again, right? But they don't remember her, and I'm wondering what Xemnas will think of Marlu in the first place. Sora'd accept some of them if he genuinely thought that they wanted to help. I doubt he could refuse people like Axel or Roxas. Also, I'm wondering what the Organization has to gain from siding with the Hearts of Darkness, or even the Hearts of Light? Survival? Have I missed something as far as motives?
One last thing~ I have an idea. A kinda dumb one though. ;; These waves of darkness destroying the worlds... what if they're more of a natural occurrence (Did we already establish that? I'm not sure...)? What if the Hearts of Darkness are just wanting to take advantage of a bad situation, and also wanting to make it worse? There's always been darkness and light... So what if this could be some sort of ancient cycle? I'm kinda thinking of Chaos and Cosmos from Dissidia, a real (natural) battle of darkness and light, here... But I'm still not sure about this idea. D:

Just kinda jumping in and tossing out some ideas, but I was thinking that maybe the Organization doesn't have much to do with what's going on. I mean they can have some sort of control with it, but they've been "dead" for who knows how long, so someone else could have stepped in. Building off of that, I think I've come up something that could work. I told Nami about it and she seemed to like it, so...
If there was another group (maybe some Hearts of Darkness?) that took over, they could be the ones that are making the rulers of other worlds freak out. Like with what Axel said about Triton and Ariel, he could be getting more protective because of the darkness twisting things. But there would have to be a reason as to what could have cause him to suddenly become so overprotective. The new group could possibly be what triggers the darkness (How they do it is up to whoever plays the character in the group).
And of course there would be the head honcho. I haven't really thought of anything for that yet, though, because if we follow through with this idea I don't want to already have the character written if someone wants to be them. D: I'd like to see what they can come up with. Now that we have a Xemnas again, those who are still loyal to him could go back under his rule, and once they realize they're no longer in control, sparks will fly.
And, that's pretty much all I've got for now. Leaving it open so other people can get ideas in, or something. O: I know Sora and Naminé are in the works of making Heart of Darkness characters, so do you two think that you could put your characters in the group-that-has-no-name-yet? And as for the Hearts of Lights it seems as though it's pretty much set as to what they're going to do for now.
Feel free to add on to the idea! (Or tell me it's terrible. -shot-)

So perhaps the Organization members on this site should congregate for a bit to establish their roles within the Organization -- even if they aren't actually with the Organization anymore. Just so everyone knows where everyone else stands, and how to interact and such. From what I can see, there'd be Xemnas's followers, rouges, and maybe exiled... but exiled may reform back to following Xemnas. *shrug* I really do like the idea of feeding off of insecurities. I do think it'd be a creeping darkness -- things are more deadly and conniving that way, and makes for subtle character development. Perhaps the stronger your heart of light, the longer it takes for you to succumb to it? And it wouldn't affect Nobodies, because they have no heart. But what happens to the Neutrals out there, and the non-Canon Hearts of Light? And as far as the natural occurrence goes -- it sounds very interesting. I haven't played the game you're referring to, Sora, but it could work. Having a strong core of Hearts of Darkness would be pretty cool, too, though. Like a side Organization, trying to screw everyone else over and accomplish whatever goal they have. Perhaps we could have a character going around, having development threads with other Hearts of Darkness to make the formation seem more grounded. The head honcho would have to have something amazing to offer to whomever is being recruited. I could see it as a nice, sinister plotting. Yeah... yeah! Good idea, Cam. But this would leave us with many factions: Hearts of Light Hearts of Darkness (Disney) Organization XIII Hearts of Darkness (OC) Would the Disney Hearts of Darkness try and cooperate with this newly formed organization? Or would they, much rather, try and compete with them? I suppose they could be competitive to start, but as the plot thickens they would merge -- two heads are better than one sort of thing (it all depends on what the goals are of each HoD group). And THEN we'd be in for a doozy, epic war, me thinks. Ho man. I'm getting excited. But sorry for all the questions, guys... mind is wired.

*appears as the all-powerful Superior* Sorry. I kept sneezing because people were talking about me. Did I miss something?
Strangeness aside, I just got the character of Xemnas. As such, I really don't know whats happened here Organization wise. I know we have some Org members here, but I don't know who is here and who is active, not to mention who is going to rejoin Org XIII when I get it back up and running. Furthermore, I'm not going to go straight into getting the Org back to full power. I've got a few tricks up my sleeve and plots going on in my head that Xemnas will do first. When the Organization members are needed, trust me... They'll know. And any of those who wish to go against him... Well you can expect a personal visit (That means you, Axel!!)
Now then, if anyone knows of what the Organization has done so far before I came here, if there was a previous Xemnas and what he did, and how far the current plot may have progressed, Speak now or forever hold your peace. Because if I don't completely know whats going on, any plans I make could be flawed. Also, potentially off subject... Does anyone know how the Organization was brought back? Like... What caused it? If I could get an answer to that, then maybe I could offer more in terms of plotting in this thread.

I think we lost us a Roxas. Fingers crossed for him comin' back regardless, though!
@sora: I. Like. KH definitely has a balance thing going on, and this is nerdy as hell but it makes me think of the stupid Star Wars sequels. Their chosen one was supposed to "bring balance," but all the good guys didn't realize that they were the ones in control and so they were gonna be the ones balanced out by all the bad guys. This is probably too individualistic, but it makes me wonder if we couldn't have some kinda reverse Sora runnin' around doing for darkness what Sora did for light...
@avan&Skell: Not that he couldn't be the boss man you're talkin' about. I like this one too, it gives us a lot of flexibility and potential for new members. The hard part would be gettin' some cooperation brewing.
@xemnas: Come and get me~.
But yeahno you're the first Xemnas here, and I think you and Skell already talked this over but there's no real definitive reason why the Org's back. Yet, anyway. It could always have to do with all this shmaltzy darkness stuff.

Reverse darkness? You kind of mean... like Roxas? Since technically one isn't supposed to exist with the other alive, right? Some odd fluke with this balance is allowing both of them to thrive till there's some stability. And the imbalance caused when all of the Org was defeated (sans Axel) could have brought upon their revival, since the universe could have been all "Oh hell no, too much light, it's too bright..." This is my brain after an almost completed day of school -- woo!

Zackly like Roxas! But darker. Cuz in the end Roxas ended up fighting for the light anyway.
In hindsight, it's lookin' like Xemnas went ahead and revived everyone himself, or at least that's what he said in his thread with 'Luxia.
And I don't wanna eat my words when I sounded so open about it before, boss man, that just seems kinda weird to me when I can't see Xemnas resurrecting all the ones who betrayed him (case in point). But I know you were talkin' plots, so if you wanna play it that way, that's coolio by me! Only thing on my end is, Axel's not gonna make that connection cuz it doesn't make sense to him, and the way I set up his return was too personal to make him think it was influenced.
Just a headsup in case, yanno, Xemnas actually expected some gratitude~.

Xemnas may have brought everyone back, but he could misattribute what brought him back -- thinking it was Kingdom Hearts, when it's actually some natural force? I don't think Xemnas would put it past Kingdom Hearts to do what it can for him, yah know?

Post by Xemnas on Mar 4, 2011 0:44:00 GMT -5
The way I tried to put it was that the power kinda made him bring back EVERYONE, not being able to pick and choose who he brought back. Which would explain why Roxas was separated from Sora, and why Xion was revived, yet no one remembered her. Not even Xemnas would know who she was if he came across her. So he did it unknowingly. But he also figured that with his own power, he would be able to regain control over those who had betrayed the Organization. Thats just my take on things.
And Marluxia... If you are reading this. Im sorry I haven't posted yet. Work has been taking up a lot of my time, and I'm surprised I even got this posted up.
