In Battle

Weapon: Staff/Rod -- This staff is not often used for actual physical attacks, but is meant for magical attacks since Aerith happens to be more a white-mage.

Fighting Style: Aerith’s fighting style is technically nonexistent. While most others are actually taking part in the fight, she is used on the sidelines as a healer. She does her best to stay away from the actually battles due to the fact that she is more than likely to get in the way. If a small heartless were to wander towards her during a battle, then the most she would do is give it a kick or two to get it away from her, but that’s as far as her actual “fighting style” would go.

Abilities: Aerith doesn’t have many abilities to use. Most of her abilities focus on healing those around her. For example: Curaga or her Limit, Healing wind. She carries around three to ten ethers with her. The number of ethers she brings with her varies depending on the fight and how serious it is. For example, if the monster is weak and could not cause much damage, she would only bring three ethers since she wouldn’t need to heal the part so much. On the other hand, if it were a monster with a high level or strength, then she would bring ten. Curaga allows her to heal about seventy-five to one hundred percent of a person’s health, and can be cast about four to five times until her MP depletes. Healing wind, unlike Curaga, allows her to cure all people fighting, but only heals about fifty to sixty prevent of a person’s health. It takes less MP to cast Healing Wind than it takes to cast Curaga, and can be used about seven to eight times before her MP depletes.

Weakness: She has more internal weaknesses, than actual physical weaknesses. When it comes to physical weaknesses, the biggest weaknesses would be the fact that she has a very little amount of strength and her stamina is very weak. Also, if she were to be hit in the middle of her back, it would cause a great amount of pain to her since it happens to be the weakest area of her body.
By internal weaknesses, this does not mean she has problems with the organs in her body, but more mental weaknesses. For example, she tends to needlessly worry even when she doesn’t have to, and is very stubborn sometimes; although she does have some moments where she is understanding and lets the situation go. She also gives people the benefit of the doubt, and tends to believe someone has changed and gives them a second chance. Although in some cases the people actually do change, other times they don’t at all and tend to betray her.

Inside Their Mind

Personality: Aerith is basically the mother of the restoration committee. Like an actual mother, she will scold you if you’ve done something wrong, or if you plan to involve yourself in a dangerous situation without relying on others. She tends to always worry about others, even though she has no reason to worry. Her curiosity can get the best of her sometimes, and always tries to pry the problems out of people to help them out. If the person makes it clear that they don’t want to speak of it, or don’t want her involved, she will back off and wait until they come to her. If they never speak to her about though, she accepts it and supports them in any way she can. She can be a bit of an airhead sometimes, and forget a few things here and there, but if it’s something important she normally remembers.
One of her biggest flaws, besides being an airhead sometimes, would be that she is kind to almost everyone. She tends to forgive those who have done wrong easily, even if they once were her enemy. Due to the amount of kindness she has, she is very vulnerable and it is easy to take advantage of her. Even if she were taken advantage of though, she would most likely smile as if nothing bad ever happened.
The brunette is never one to get mad often. It’s rare to see her actually annoyed or mad, but one thing that will bring this side out of her is if someone were to harm nature. Meaning step on a flower, or cut down a tree. She has a love for nature, and does not tolerate anything that may harm what she loves. This also goes for her friends. No matter how forgiving Aerith can be, she will not sit back and watch those she loves be harmed.

The profile needs to go through a complete overhaul, and the changes that need to be made are:

Aerith's history: you've used Aerith's original FFVII backhistory, and Aerith has been redesigned to fit into Kingdom Hearts; there is not much info about her history, as with every other Final Fantasy character in KH, but the most notable differences is that Aerith grew up in Hollow Bastion, not Midgar; there is no such thing as the Shin-Ra, the Turks, as well as Aerith's Cetra ancestry. All of this was omitted since the first KH game, and so you need to rewrite her history so it follows Aerith's KH canon. You will need to include a bit about her early life in her original world, which presumably is FFVII-verse; Square isn't clear about this.

Aerith hasn't been shown in a fight yet within the games, and she is shown to pretty much be a Healer, not a Fighter: it would be alright to retain her Limit Breaks and her staff, but explain it in a way that says that she would be of more use on the side-lines rather than in the midst of battle; Aerith's not as physically capable as Sora & Co or Leon and Yuffie, to join in combat, etc.

She has the use of Curaga, so you would need to add in limits as to how often she can use Curaga + Ethers, as well as what entails her to use another of her regenerative skills. Great Gospel will probably have to go, though; invincibility is essentially god-modding, no matter how brief it'll last, and isn't fair.

Aerith's personality needs to be altered. IE: she is not forgiving of her enemies, since she isn't at all kind to the Heartless.

Overall, her profile doesn't give the impression that it was written seriously, as in some places the character breaks the fourth wall, and or you've added an OOC comment. Comments are fine, provided that they are used rarely and are needed to justify something IC, but you need to take out Aerith's weakness that's referencing her encounter with Sephiroth, and the following OOC comment.

Please write a new RP sample, as the current one is a little OOC, needs to be a bit longer; the scenario also needs to involve the actual character a lot more. As it is, there is little in it that shows myself and the other staff that you can write Aerith in a thread.

Lastly, as you write the new profile, please proof-read your work and format your paragraphs properly; the history is just a wall of text as it is, and in some areas throughout the whole application you've left out words, or used the wrong one. Please remember that the RP/writing format is past tense, third person, storybook format.

There is a 5-day period starting today, in which you have to finish the overhauled profile and submit it; if you can not submit a new profile within that time frame, we are sad to say that we will have to reject your profile and allow someone else to apply for Aerith.

I most likely won't be finishing this. /: I apologize for not being able to. I've tried to think of something for it and my brain is drawing up a serious blank like the first time I tried to finish the app. I may attempt to join as someone else, but I'm not entirely sure. It all sort of depends on how busy the second semester of school will be for me.
