Sexual Orientation: Hetero.

Appearance
Normal - Present
- Alexander stands at a noticeable stature of only 5'5". Dark brown, almost black, hair sits upon his head, not too long, and not too short but trimmed to a comfortable length. This hair, however, remains most of the time hidden underneath a black and red baseball cap turned 90 degrees to the right with the letters "L.A." off centered in red. His skin is as a light bronze, though not from the sun, but from his ethnic origins. A black wife-beater shirt wraps around his torso, tightly, accenting his athletically lean muscular upper body as black Echo Unltd. shorts seamed with crimson red thread cover his lower body from his waist down to about three 1/2 inches above his ankles. Alexander's feet are wrapped within black and red Nike Air Carnivore high top basketball shoes that offered adequate ankle protection and were perfectly ideal for long term physical activity without added weight strain upon his ankles.
Battle - Based on Normal: Present
- Loosely slung around his waist was just one of two straps that joined at a more stable and solid holster that sat behind at the small of his back. In this holster slept the peculiar short sword, which Alexander calls, the Samantha Soul. This, however, was not Alexander's primary weapon and thus, he became close to an even more peculiar weapon that rests behind his left shoulder blade in a holster sling that wrapped around his left shoulder. In this sheath rests the Carbon Steel pipe that seems to have been spray painted black with grip tape going up a quarter of the way from one of it's ends.
Normal - Future: Battle and Normal
- After the incident in Twilight Town, the environment grew harsher and harsher, forcing many out of the world and many to die. Alexander, however, remained behind and adapted in his own manner. Part of the adaptation came in the form of his clothing which closely resembles that of the desert dwellers. Entirely garbed in black, Alexander donned loose fitting, baggy clothing that hung from his body and was bound by a waist cloth. Lightweight tactical boots protected his feet and ankles as his hands were covered in thick yet agile gloves while and his face remained hidden beneath the shadow cast by a large hood which extended a cloaking veil behind and at his sides. His weapons remained hidden beneath this veil in accessible holsters.
In Battle
Weapon
- Carbon Steel Pipe - (Primary) A 3 1/2 ft. pipe made of strong carbon steel. Black electrical wraps around a quarter of one end serving as an obvious grip. Though simply basic, it has yet to fail Alexander in battle and thus holds a close place in Alexander's heart and hand.
- Samantha Soul - (Secondary) A 2 3/4 ft. long sword of peculiar design constructed for easy repair when broken. Despite it being a sword, it doesn't have bladed edges and thus is ineffective as an offensive weapon. It's metallic composition is of an unknown yet strong material. The design is traditionally known as a hard edge.
Fighting Style:
- Given the amount of time Alexander has been living, and the martial training he has underwent throughout the foremost of his early life, his hand-to-hand fighting skill, weapons proficiency, agility, and accuracy when it comes to delivering nerve crushing strikes has developed well beyond normal conditioning. When in combat, he is likened to that of the temple monks who fight gracefully yet, in Alexander's case, there is an incorporated sense of "style." When Alexander's primary weapon is drawn, he is known to use it in the form of the Iajitsu Kendo as well as a bo-staff. Secondary weapon usually yields more liberality and thus he tends to use it in a less disciplined, yet highly effective, manner.
Abilities
- Zui Quan - Drunken Boxing (Type: Offensive) (Elemental: N/A) A deceptive and randomly organized system of martial arts that Alexander has mastered. When used, Alexander seems to take on the characteristics of being intoxicated, though he has never drank a drop of alcohol in his life, this enables him to use well-timed and coordinated attacks while he breaks through the defenses and exploits the opponents openings.
- Five Rings Discipline (Type: Offensive) (Elemental: N/A) A strike-oriented linear system of martial arts that focuses on explosive power drawn from inner chi. Because of this discipline, Alexander has learned well the weakest points, and the most sensitive points, of the human body. Easily, Alexander is able to strike a man cold with paralysis and although he is capable of delivering death, Alexander refrains from doing so.
- Chi (Type: Offensive) (Element: Neutral) - A byproduct of his martial training. He is capable of harnessing massive amounts of internal energy into his attacks to the degree of shattering solid objects with his bare fists. At will, Alexander is capable of manipulating the chi to the point of bypassing the exoskeleton and dealing damage to the internal organs of his target. (Cast Availability: Every 2 posts)
- Darkness (Type: Offensive) (Correlation: Story) (Element: Darkness/Psychic) - An innate ability which allows him to control the element of "darkness," to the extent of his choosing. From blanketing the entire terrain in a fog of blackness to creating crystalline physical manifestations of the element. Though this ability is rarely, if ever, called upon.(Cast: 3 posts - Cooldown: 1 post) ---This, at the same time, renders Alexander resistant to psychics and any form of mental intrusions.
- Healing Factor (Type: Passive) (Elemental: N/A) Alexander has the ability to recover from injury, poison, or disease at an accelerated rate. This is not to say that he is incapable of being killed, rather, he is simply extremely difficult to kill by any normal and conventional means.
Weakness
- Basic death strikes. (Severed head, loss of blood, severe trauma to the cerebellum, etc.)
- Women - Alexander is, to the say the least, flirtatious, even to females who dedicate themselves to an unrighteous cause or to be his enemy. He does not, however, allow an unrighteous cause to come to fruition no matter how attractive the female might be.
- Delusions - Alexander also has demonstrated difficulty in differentiating reality from imagination, often times regarding the real world a dream in which waking is yet to come. This also attributes to his lack of concern or worry toward most matters.
- Small Frame - Because of his height, Alexander is prone to being easilly "thrown," should a much larger and physically capable enemy manage to get a grasp on quick Alexander.
- Samantha Soul - Because of the nature of this sword, it's ability to "cut," is weaker then most, though it is capable if used properly. Regardless, the weapon itself is used more as a bludgeon and shield to keep the enemy back. It's use as an offensive tool is rare, despite it being called a "sword." Because of this, it serves simply as means to fend off and defend against attacks. The blade itself is incapable of being broken but, due to it's lack of balance, the blade, when the sword is "broken," detaches itself from the hilt and is rendered a simple slab of metal until repaired.
- Heart o'Gold - Alexander has a tendency to place himself in the line of fire for the sake of others. Although this can seem virtuous, the increase in risk is high. Often times, Alexander leaves the battlefield holding the most injury to his person. "Glad I got this blood..."
Inside Their Mind
Personality
- Friendly - Generally, Alexander is easy to get along with and is never one to arouse strife or continue contentions. Usually, his inviting demeanor is complimented by the fact that he has no true enemies.
- Collective - Never one to worry or stress, Alexander's collective nature has, to some, given him the image of cockiness and indifference to most situations.
- Flirtatious - Though women are a source of weakness in Alexander's life, he is perfectly capable of balancing responsibility with leisure.
- Loyal - Once friendships are established, the unbreakable bond is set in stone for life.
- Confident - If it is one thing Alexander lacks, it's not confidence. Some might categorize him as cocky and arrogant but he simply holds a disregard toward what others might regard worthy of worry, fear, anxiety, etc.
- Pious - Despite his flaws, Alexander is devout to his God and is in a constant state of battle against his own inner self. This piety attributes to much of Alexander's way of living, behavior, and morality.
- Dark - Not easily readable. Much of his life, particularly his past, is hidden and he is careful who he allows into the deeper portions of his mind and heart. Some would say he is introverted, others would say he is simply cautious.
HistoryA Diary?
"Whats this?" In a seemingly vacant Twilight Town apartment unit on the third floor, a small book rests on the wood-style linoleum kitchen floor.
A diary,
Me and my little sister Lisa took a curious venture into the abandoned hospital on 5th and Temple. This structure had long been forsaken due to a fire 5 years prior and it remained a remnant serving only as a memory to those who looked upon it. The common rumor was that the building had been inhabited by the spirits of those who died in the fire. At times, sounds were supposedly heard in the night time and the images of moving shadows were occasionally seen; this was our reason for venturing into the establishment in the first place.
The darkness of the nighttime almost completely dwarfed our flashlights; barely anything was visible in these long, window-less hallways. Medical supplies, gurneys, and common hospital items all lay tattered and charred along the grounds but we dared not venture into any of the patient rooms lest we run into a corpse or worse.
Then there we heard whispering. Something watched us from the thick darkness but neither our flashlights or our ears could detect where the voices came from. The whisperings beckoned us to run and leave and we tried, not out of obedience but instinct. Nevertheless, we ran not knowing where we were going in an attempt to escape but simply going deeper into the unknowing.
Then there was light; a bright light in front of us that stopped our running and figures moving in front of them looking as shadows darkened by the light behind them. These figures took hold of me and my little sister and as much as we tried to fight, we couldn't. They were just so strong. We were dragged to an empty room where there was a dim light casting spotlight on a hospital bed.
The next memories are vague. Trying to remember gives me a headache.
They did something to Lisa, I think. I tried to stop them but I was being held back by someone... something that was way strong. No way could these things be human. After that the people left the room and Lisa-

I ran back the way I came from, or the way I think I came from. Was I dreaming? To this day I don't know but Lisa isn't here with me so that's a clear indication of something not being quite right. I never made it out of that hospital. All I remember was a strange door that I tried to kick open as (scratched off) chased after me. It wouldn't budge, it was solid. I shut my eyes and remembered the Lord; I think I prayed something like-

Somehow I wasn't in that hospital anymore but I don't remember leaving it.

This was still L.A... but there was darkness.. everywhere. My flashlight was on the ground. I picked it up and in front of me stood a man I recognized. I think it was (scratched off). He attacked me but why was he attacking me? I had no choice, after a fight that seemed to last hours... maybe days... come to think of it I'm not entirely sure how long I was in this place or how long I was fighting him but... I killed him.
(The next few pages are blank.)
Thankfully my stuff was still in my room.
The streets outside were bleak and desolate. I fell on my bed, everything was just so tiring; emotionally, physically, and mentally tiring. The darkness around me was thick and I didn't care to be afraid anymore. I remember calling out to God but I don't remember what I said. I was depressed, angry, I turned off the flashlight, and eventually fell asleep and that was it.
When I woke up I wasn't on my bed in the dark anymore. Everything was bright and pleasant looking. I was inside the home of a woman named Deidra who apparently found me laying unconscious in the streets of a town I'd had never seen or heard of before. Deidra nursed me while I was unconscious for about a week before I had awoken. When I actually woke up, I remember being hungrier and thirstier then I had had ever been before in his life.
How long was I out?
I came to find that this city was called Twilight Town. The people here are all pretty chill even though they've never heard of L.A, Hollywood, or anything about home before. It's like I'm in a different world...Am I dreaming? Or was everything before this just a dream? That would mean Lisa, Samantha, were never real... I don't know whats real anymore but...
I think I'm somewhere in the Eastcoast....

An Average Day
Alexander stared outward at the distant horizon. The cool evening breeze struck his body gently as he stood there in front of the open window of what was now his own apartment on the third floor of the residential district. In his mind he contemplated, remembering the things that have occurred, trying to piece this puzzle out in his mind though it was to no avail. Daily he remembered the incidents that lead him here; forgetting was not an option.
He had just woken up, showered, and gotten dressed for the work day in his navy blue work pants and magenta polo shirt with the "Deidra's Flower Shop," logo on the upper left of the shirt. Alexander shut his eyes, lowered his head, and contemplated for a moment as he clasped his hands together and held them up to his mouth. Softly, he began to speak in whispers.
Alexander: "Father, bless this day.... keep me from the wicked one and all his deceptions.."
Alexander continued whispering for several minutes. It was something he did every morning before leaving his home and it seemed as though no one knew what it was he was doing or why he did it. Even before his meals he did this and it didn't seem like he cared that people looked at him strange and wondered amongst themselves what it was he was doing. Regardless, he was well respected for his hard work and dedication to his job. Afterall, it had been three years since he had first come to Twilight Town and in all three years he never gave anybody a reason to hate him.
His eyes opened. Alexander raised his head to look outward at the rising sun for a moment more before he turned around to leave his apartment. Grabbing his keys on his way out, Alexander took one last look at his new home. It was just a few days ago that he finally got enough money to move out of Deidra's and out on his own. Alexander slowly shut the door, locked the deadbolt, and went his way down the stairs of the apartment building.
Along the way, several of the younger, prettier girls that lived in the same apartment and the same block flashed welcoming smiles and "hellos," in his direction. Alexander had become something of a hot commodity amongst the local girls in this part of Twilight Town and many took notice. This earned him both friends and rivals, though none ever truly held a passion against him. Afterall, he was friendly to most and even toward those who tried to approach him with animosity found themselves sitting alongside him during get togethers and hangouts.
One of the local boys, Roy, who was around Alexander's age ran up to Alexander up to him from the candy stand that was just across the way from Alexander's apartment building.
(NPC)Roy: Hey, Alex! You coming tonight?
Alexander: Tonight? ... Byron's birthday thing? Maybe. I'll see what up.
(NPC)Roy: Everyone's going to be there. "Everyone." Even some people from across town who you haven't met yet.
Alexander: (Jokingly) Please, who haven't I met in this town?
The two chuckled. Beneath Alexander's tough looking and hard exterior was a genuine heart of friendship that shone through his personality.
(NPC)Candy Shop Manager: Roy! Get back here, we got customers!
(NPC)Roy: Gotta run, Alex! See you tonight!
Roy returned to the candy stand and attended to the line of customers that began to form. Alexander continued on his way toward the flower shop on the east end of the block. This city, although it was now his home, could never be his true home and he knew it. Somewhere out there was a way back to where he belonged but thinking about only grieved his heart. Alexander had made so many new friends and formed many relationships here that going back wouldn't be an easy thing to do.
The small flower shop stood before him ordained beautifully with roses, tulips, posies, flowers, and an assortment of bouquets that were all made from freshly picked stock. The smell of the fresh floral arrangements permeated a small ways away from the flower shop and the colors of the fauna stood out in contrast to the surrounding city-scape around him and it was generally a peaceful place full of gentle and well mannered customers and this made Alexander's living here somewhat more comfortable.
Alexander softly pushed the door to the flower shop open. The bell that hung above the door rung softly to alert Deidra, the shop-keep of entries. Deidra, herself, was knelt down at the wall to the left of Alexander. She was pruning some flowers that were growing from a large stone pot.
Alexander: ...I'm here, boss.
Deidra: (Jokingly) How many times do I have to tell you to stop calling me boss?
Alexander: My bad.. (Sarcastically)I'm here, "mom."
Deidra: (Joking Agreement) That's more like it!
The two chuckled for a moment as Deidra stood up. She was an older woman, about 64 years in age, and had great compassion for Alexander as if he were her own son. Her dark brown hair had begun to gray slowly and her skin no longer retained the smoothness of youth. Nevertheless, she remained an attractive women despite her old age. Deidra walked over to Alexander and placed her hands on his shoulders as she looked over him in admiration.
Deidra: (Proudly) Look at you... when I found you 3 years ago you were as helpless as a little lamb... now... off on your own self with your own apartment.
Deidra's eyes welled up in tears but she contained her weeping. She had grown fond of Alexander in the short time they were together and he was indeed as a son to her though both of them knew in the back of their mind that they were far from blood relatives.
Alexander: ...Hey.. I only live down the street now.
Deidra: I know, I know. It's just-
Alexander: I know... I know.
The two chuckled.
Deidra: Well, there's lots of work to do around here. A new shipment of stone pots came in yesterday and I need them moved to the back.
Alexander: On it.
And the two began their work day. Alexander tended to the heavier, more physically laborious duties of the flower shop while Deidra focused mainly on the plants themselves. This was the usual day in, day out, routine for Alexander and Deidra.
